Sonia graduated with honours as a fine artist jeweller & silversmith from the London Guildhall University in 1992. In 1994 she established herself in Amsterdam where she founded Atelier Boss & Harrison in 1997 together with her partner.

After more than ten successful years in the centre of Amsterdam the atelier necessitated a move. The choice for relocation in Obdam, NH, provided not only more spacious accommodation but also improved accessibility and parking facilities. In the atelier Sonia continues to create her fine art jewellery & objects for both the commercial & consumer markets.

Sonia's passion for designing & making unique pieces of jewellery is combined with artistic flair & craftmanship to create original, functional & durable products. Her feelings, intuition, fantasy & love of the forms, structures & textures found within the natural world, play an important inspirational role in the design process. The final result is a surprisingly versatile & varied collection of jewellery in which each individual piece is a work of art in its own right.

Sonia also accepts commissions. Through close consultation the wishes & ideas of the customer are carefully translated into a personal jewel. Naturally attention is also paid to the desired function of the piece & to the occasion for which it is intended. Each customer may be involved throughout the whole design process, from the initial idea to the finished product.
